Mintmaster in Deutz, Germany, in 1693, and in Bonn from 1698 to 1728. He also struck coins in the Cologne circle mint for the abbot of Werden and Helmstedt in 1696 and 1698, and for the count of Waldeck in 1695. Friedrich Wendels was listed as a Silversmith in 1693, and was enrolled as Unverdienter on 5 August 1657. He died on 26 August 1728.
